Water Rate Increase and Utility Tax Increase (again?) Today's OC Register has a report that OC Water Utility Taxes affecting all cities, including Stanton, will rise 7.5% beginning 1/2013 and go up another 5% 1/2014. Clearly the State had taken away too much money from Counties and Cities, and now we are in a World of Hurt. VOTE NO TO ANY TAX INCREASES IN STANTON, and ESPECIALLY CALIFORNIA STATE. We need lower taxes, and much lower spending by Counties and Cities of California. For Stanton, maybe they should not be building a Homeless Housing Shelter and adding more parks for kids to play in when the Age of Stanton residents appears to be increasing and KIDS of old are now just Old Taxpayers. As for California, we need to Squash and totally eliminate or "LIMIT" all the State Union Employees that are simply making matters worse with a $500+ Billion pension liability. And what is California doing wasting money on a Bullet Train still and the Fed money have evaporated and will never come West? This is a waste. |
